My hubby and I adopted our 4th child from here, and we are so happy. Our baby, Major, fell right into place within one day of us taking him home. He quickly got used to the kisses and gentle boots pats. I never knew that was a thing. The staff here were amazing, and even though we told them how we're raising three other babies, they still stood firm on making sure we knew how to handle our new family member. I don't know who's more tickled my husband or me.

The facility was huge and super well set up. The staff was very nice and love the animals. I don't know where they get funding, but they are way over funded.
They have a hand full of dogs, and a fair amount of cats.
The reason I give 2 stars is because you can't just adopt a dog (even if you have the $350 or more they ask for) if you go in there. You have to set up an appointment to come see a dog, then set up an appointment to adopt a dog if they give you a go ahead. The dogs they had there just needed to be put down. They weren't friendly to dogs or people.
Maybe this facility is for high maintenance pets that should be killed, but get sent here instead.
If you're looking for a pet, don't go here unless you really care about saving one (that I don't think should be saved) and have loads of resources to do so. To each their own, I guess.
If I could give less then 1 star I would, today after going down there to adopt 2 kittens and after being with the kittens and having them up on my lap purring for love and attention I was told that I wouldn't be able to take them home because they didn't think it was a good match. So rather than giving these 2 cats a new loving home they would rather keep them at their shelter. If you actually want to bring home a pet I would highly recommend you not go to this location, they will let you play and pet the animals but will end up interrogating you and not letting you take the animals you fall in love with home.

What a beautiful experience! This organization truly cares about animals and the fur parents. Yasmin and the staff were so sweet, she answered all my questions and addressed the care needed for my adorable new kitten. My new fur baby is a purrfect fit for my home with her new big brother. ❤️
I have given a donation in my late cat's name who we got from Sun Valley for a long time. Makes my heart swell. Three couples in there adopting this year. Humanity actually has a chance.
We went there to look for a new family member. This is a great place the animals are taken care of, and they have great areas to get to know your potential family member. The staff is really nice and will answer any questions you have.
